About the Event

About this Event

We will cover how teachers can collaborate with Mentors and Coaches to better support their students in creating a neurodiversity friendly classroom. This workshop is part of a larger year-long program for schools and teachers that want to support neurodiversity in the classroom. In honor of Brain Awareness Week, we are opening up to include more participants for this specific webinar.

Other possibilities

Please reach out to us if you are looking for specific themes, such as  Understanding the Role of Executive Functions, Designing Strengths-Based Classrooms, or Social- Emotional and Ethical Learning. We can look into offering an exploratory session to your school or team if you are interested in becoming a more neurodiversity friendly school or teacher.

Who is presenting:

This workshop will be facilitated by Saskia Wenniger and moderated by Lana Jelenjev.

About the facilitator:

Saskia Wenniger is a learning designer, a media scholar and Strengths based life coach specializing in ADHD with her company Brilliantly Diverse. She is also a co-founder of Neurodiversity Education Academy.

She adores learning, interacting in communities of practice and collaborating with people who have similar interests and values, especially when it comes to co creating a more (neuro)diversity friendly future that can lift up the next generations into solving the problems of the future together.

About the moderator:

Lana Jelenjev is the co-founder of Neurodiversity Education Academy. Together with Saskia, they are on the mission to bridge the gap for all neurotypes to thrive.
