About the event

This month's theme is all about UNDERSTANDING ALLYSHIP: BEST PRACTICES IN MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR NEURODIVERGENTS FROM PEERS AND ALLIES.

When interacting with neurodivergent friends, colleagues, family members, how do we...

  • surface what is helpful?
  • know when do we need opening? (curiosity, exploration and brainstorming)
  • know where do we need closing? (simplifying, limited options, delegation)
  • and where do we need processing/holding space?

These are some of the areas where awareness and understanding when offering support are important. Let's use this time to share best practices in mental health support for neurodivergents.

We hope to see you in the community gathering!

You can join us through the link provided in the registration.

SUPPORT OUR ADVOCACY

We are able to provide these events, resources, tools and learning sessions through voluntary work. For individuals with expendable income, donations are welcome and can support us in providing our work to more parents, educators, organizations and communities specially for marginalized sectors.

If you are interested in bringing Neurodiversity Awareness and Advocacy to your schools, companies or organizations please do contact us directly.
