Hi All, I'm I tutor/teacher & Learning support member of staff at a music technology college in Devon. It had been really good to see the postive shift in thinking that neurodiversity can result in and just want to keep learning and improving my practice.
@Lana Jelenjev I predominantly work with students with vi impairment and hearing impairment. The vast majority do exceptionally well once their specific access needs have been assessed and addressed. There is provision in the UK's educational system to offer support to students with additional needs via Disability Student Allowance. This is enshrined in the Equality Act 2010 under the so-called reasonable adjustments. The system is not perfect but it is of crucial importance to individuals with disabilities.
And of course welcome :)

Thank you, Lana. I work with neuro diverse university students. I'm based in London. Good to connect.
